There’s not an instagram worthy dress code, a standard to have to hit, or even about kiddos that don’t struggle through it at points. It’s a grace filled space for you to be yourselves, let go of the worries traditionally associated with having your photos done + truly enjoy being in the moment + being fully your unique, goofy, love filled selves.

We are always sure to get the photo of everyone looking at the camera first. From there take a lifestyle approach to your session. This makes the kids less overwhelmed and sets the stage for more natural + connected photos. During your session we walk around, let the kiddos discover, guide you through prompts and pause you for sweet moments. This part of Kenzi Shipley Photography is my passion project. I have a heart for documenting the various seasons of life for families in a way that is laid back, relaxing and something to look forward to year after year. Life moves so crazy fast, having photos of your kiddos + you throughout the years are truly priceless. Whatever is holding you back- stress, finances, not feeling comfortable in front of the camera- I guarantee years from now it won’t matter. All that will matter is that you get to look back and relive a time in your life that has past + look at life with your kiddos while they are little.

I am based in the Salem, Oregon area. I don't charge travel fees within driving 50 miles RT of Salem/ Corvallis, Oregon. I spend a lot of time photographing families in Portland, the Gorge and the Oregon Coast- reach out for a special pricing sheet for these locations!
